hi all, how have u been? i am missing all of u in KL badly... and KL....

i have started classes for two weeks edi. so glad to see ppl so excited for LOUD! im still geting updates. hehe.... ~~stalks around~~

please keep up the good work. im sure if all of u pray and work hard, it will bear fruit! do not let small reasons stop u from inviting your friends. no such thing as my umbrella broke, or the sun is too yellow etc reasons. remember to pray and invite ur frens ya!

i would love to come down and join u all... but my classes is on sunday instead of fridays. n 26th is the day of my presentation! but i am still keepin u all in prayer and hope that LOUD 2009 will be an even greater success!

to thse who got NS, do not despair... i know it might seem boring and daunting at first. and i cant say i understand how u feel, since i din get it. BUT it is where God has chosen u to be.... maybe all three of u get the same camp leh... then u can wok together and bring more people to know Him. think about the rewards. isn't that exciting???

Hello people! :)

Throughout July, we'll be meeting as a Zone to prepare all of us for LOUD! It's happening on the 26 July 2009 (Sunday) from 5pm till 9pm. I am pretty sure most of you have came for at least one eh? :) But I assure you, it's gonna be LOUDER and even more different this year. This is a golden opportunity not to be missed! ;) There will be our very own XYZ worship band- Project Gsus and dance time- Real Ink Crew. There's gonna be games, food, indie bands, hair spray and tatoo booths and not forgetting a special guest artist!

What's LOUD without your friends right?! ;P So people, it's time to come out of your comfort zone and go all out inviting your friends! Here are six simple ways to invite your friends. As taught during Zone Congregation yesterday, it's very simple.

Just remember PLEIKS.

Step 1: PRAY
Before you do anything else, pray and commit everything to God because we know that He listens to our prayers. Don't just pray in general, for example, Dear God, I pray for ALL of my friends, I pray that ALL of them will come for LOUD. Amen. Pray specifically!! List out the name of your friends whom you want to invite and commit them to the Lord! :)

Step 2: LIST (Make a List)
List down the name of your friends and stick it on your mirror, your Bible, in between your textbooks, on your calculator, in your toilet (when you have nothing to do when you pangsai, PRAY FOR THEM!). Continue to pray for them!

Step 3: ENTICE
Entice and excite your friends with the awesome LOUD! invitation cards and the *click* promotional video. You can look for it on YouTube under XYZevents. By the way, the*click* 2nd LOUD! Teaser is already out! It's a shorter version of the first one. :P

Step 4: INVITE
Tell your friends about LOUD! Inform them about the details (eg. when, where, what time, what's happening). Be sure to know about the details and get them excited woohoo! Go up personaly to them and invite them! =D

Step 5: KEEP IT FRESH
Now that your friends know about LOUD, you can slip it in your conversations occassionally.

Step 6: SEAL THE DEAL
The final step. As LOUD draws nearer, seal the deal with your friends whom you have invited. Be willing to go the extra mile if there is anything preventing them from coming. (eg. If they don't have transport, offer to pick them up. Don't let them take the public transports and stuff like that.)

Six very simple ways to invite your friends for LOUD! Let's all put it into practice okies? :P

What's been up, everyone? How's journalling? How's school? How's exams? How's holidays? How's work? Pretty sure all of you have lots to do cause I haven't seen you guys for a long time. ~~I think I forgot how you all look like too.~~

Anyway, we started on this series called Attitude Check last week for CG. And it will be CG this week again! :) Don't you just love having cell group? I DO! :) Attitude check is something about self discovering. Well, at least for me. I think it's gonna be fun for all of us as you discover yourself bit by bit. :)

Do come for CG this week, 2pm and Room 115. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

the pricing...

for sky trex rm 35 per person for the whole thing... there are three tracks as far as i know... not sure if can do all three... but i think one is good enough... if u can survive the whole thing dat is... LOL... besdies that... there is also archery, fishing, swimming cycling and a four season house in Tmn Pertanian... so i feel this is prolly a good place lo... HAHA... entrance fee rm 3...

For Go karting... it is also rm 35... for 10 minutes... plus rm 50 deposit... if got damage, then rm 50 gone... i also feel this is a good choice, but only thing is expensive a bit lo... so u see la...

Hi Peeeeeeeeps!! :)

As most of you know that we'll be having a CG outing this coming Sunday, on the 8th March, you have a choice of choosing either one of the below (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong, Al).

Now there you go...*cheng chenggggg* The two choices are....*drum rolls*

*I feeel gooooood. We'll be right back!*

The two choices are:-

Sky trekking and more little activities...like flying fox, riding bicycle(??)
Go-karting

Both of theses activities are in Shah Alam. Both are outdoors. ~~Go figure the pros and cons yourself la. I not so free. I have to study.~~

Anyways, why Sunday, some of you may ask.

Just so you know, CHS has replacement class for Hari Raya on Saturday, which I think the Maxwell-ians has too, just that they are not informed, yet. Don't be too happy. >P So yes, Sunday it is. We want everybody who can make it to come and join the fun. After all, it's a CG Outing, no? :)

Hey guys,
Isn't it amazing that someone other than Mei Yih and Denzie is posting something on this blog? If you said no, don't read further until you've said yes. If you've said yes, then read on. Man, i suck at this..

Haha, ANYWAY, we are gonna have a cg outing this saturday, the 20th December 2008. This time, we are going to SUNWAY LAGOON. Got dry park and wet park. I don't think you can go for 1 park only la, so have to buy for both. We'll be staying there the whole day, then going for dinner at Yuen's steamboat (somewhere in sunway). Apparently its very nice. The best part is, the leaders will be paying for the dinner.

"WHAT ABOUT LUNCH?" you ask. "OMG EAT WHAT FOR LUNCH..I DONT EAT I FAINT THEN CRY" Well bring your own lunch. You know, like how you bring food for recess. Because right, lunch must be light la, otherwise you eat lunch then go on rollercoaster then quite cham 1. So bring your own lunch. Bread or something.

What to bring? Other than lunch, bring money. Bring about 60 bucks for ticket and just in case you want to buy something else. Bring sunblock if you dont wanna be hard to spot at night. But if your teeth very clean and white then its okay, still can find you in the dark. Bring a change of clothes. Bring water. And anything else you want to bring. OH..and bring your IC. The ticket price is 20% cheaper with your IC. SO please please please bring your IC

We'll be meeting at church at 9.30 am. Having dinner at about 7. Probably finishes about 8.30-9pm. Do let your leaders know whether you can make it. Girls let Jehanne know. Andrew and John let me know. The rest let Allan know.

Hey hey! Here's the update for talent time!

Our story is about Daniel in the Lions Den in Reality tv form. As you know we've combine with CHS. We now have 7 minutes for our skit (: Our practice will be this Sat (6/12/08) at 11 am. Don't be late! remember we only have that sat to prac before camp! And talent time is on the first day (or so they say)

So here is the storyline + roles you guys need to act out :-

INTRO
- Introduction of characters using america's next top model

SCENE 1
- Recap (previously on Daniel tv....)

advisors of the kind complain about daniel
Daniel got in wrong book
people go to the king
set the decree
king writes the decree

What will happen to Daniel next?

SCENE 2

(human people will show morning + moving sky)

Daniel finds out about decree
face window and prays 3x a day
got caught
advisors complain to the king
throws Daniel into Lions den

SCENE 3

Daniel in the den with lion
(in the den) So you think you can dance competition against Dancing Lion and Daniel
meanwhile in the king's palace...

SCENE 4

King finds out Daniel is alive (Song: survivor by Destiny's Child will play)
king brings advisors to board room (like apprentice) and fires them (donald trump: You're fired! =D )
king order's citizens to worship God (*hallelujah! hehehehe)

hey, just want to say im so proud of you guys!!!

u guys brought the house down yday... cudn have done it without all of your support...

a special thanks to john and mei yih for coming early to help out with the decoration in dream center... and to john, mei yih, jehanne, mabel, denzie, nat and zi liang for working tirelessly to finish the board....

all in all yesterday we had 14oo over people coming and more than 180 decisions... of which 44 were salvations... and guess wat... 2 of them is from our cell group...

lets thank God for denzie and Zhan Wei who accepted Christ!!!!

more good news... right after the event, two of nat's fren, jason and aaron wants to sign up for the camp, even before it has started its registration!!!

summore!!! two of nat's frens... not sure if its the same one... wants to join the cell group!!! PTL!!!

u see, all your efforts of inviting your friends are bearing fruits... and it can only be done becoz u guys went all out believing it wil be a great event where God will move...

from our cell 8 members and 27 friends turned up... dats even bigger than last years FCS or LOUD dat we had... let's give God another round of applause!!!

i really want to say it again and again... dat u guys ROCK!!!! seeing you guys jumping and dancing and singing... i really want to see more of that in the future ya... not just in camp or concerts... but the same tenacity and passion in cell group as well!!!!

Hey people, how are you guys? Loud is coming up and i'm so excited for all of you back home. I'm missing it and that's something you wouldn't want to miss out and at the same time your friends too. I'm sure it will be a great event with the presence of many! Wished i could be there. Oh well. Life here in melbourne is not too bad, the weather can be very crazy at times. Melbourne is much filled with asians, good shopping, good food but nothing beats home! It has been 4 months since i came here, how time flies yeah. Firstly, I finished the scrapbook. please check your mail tonite at 9pm. the scrapbook soft copy will be sent to u. I NEED UR HELP!!!
please read through and type out how u feel about him and his work. and send to me latest by tomorrow 4pm. this is so that we can submit in the scrapbook on time! PLEASE!!!! onegaishimasu. (dats please in jap if u din noe)

Secondly, i really hope that all of us are working hard and praying hard for LOUD!!! its only few weeks away, so invite your friends! i know some of you say it is very near exam, so you all don't want to go.... or because of that sure friends duwan to go. but never ask, how u know?
please do not let transport be an issue, because it can be settled very easily.
lets work a bit harder on inviting our friends. our target is 12 members and 15 friends. at the current rate, we have six members and 3 friends, and even those number not confirmed.

first learned about the draper trade in Bridgewater,Hitchcock and Roger’s drapers shop in St Paul’s Churchyard.

I don't know when their birthday is :P okay, i'm gonna make an effort to ask them this week. Meiyih, please remember!

Anyways, i went for Emerge KL on Friday night. i didn't expect it to be so fun. but more importantly, we only worship one audience, that is Jesus.

Emerge is like something where young people discover their talents and potential.

It was so jam on the way, hence we were late. When we reached, it was worship. but, when i stepped in the convention centre, i immediately felt God's presence. (since this part is in my blog, i'll go to the preaching part!)

what i learned was that God is unchangeable. in the Bible it states, I am who I am, which also means that God is the same yesterday, today and he is the same! (I am, is in the present tense..) Besides, God is not just an ordinary God. He is a creative, complex and sophisticated God!

i am on my journey to discover my talents and potential. what about you?

i tell you, those of you who have never heard of Pr Victor, U MISSED OUT ON SO MUCH!!!
it was funny , hilarious, but still very interesting cause i learnt something.

LOVE is spelt TIME. cause it really does require us to put in our time and effort, to develop and grow. LOVE is giving the best of ME to the other person at the expense of MYSELF. and of course, not forgetting the ten levels of sexual progression. so FARNEE i tell you, i shall let denzie tell you more. lol

the highlight for me besides all the laughter, was seeing different people response during the talk. hearing how some of us just burst out laughing was fun.

i dun haf pictures, so you have to wait for denzie to upload. hehe

missed yesterday's Youth Alpha? let me tell you something really funny that happened okay?! :)

so it all happened when mabel and i went to the toilet. and you know, the boy's is next to the girl's la. when we passed by the guy's..i asked mabel to off the toilet lights. (ala, just wanted to save electricity ma..never listen to radio meh? turn off the lights when not in use -_-) but anyway, mabel asked, what if there were people inside? so in the end, she didn't off lor. then we went in the girl's toilet..and release whatever we needed to release la.

we came out, and i offed the lights *big grins*, and while walking, i conveniently offed the lights in the guys toilet too. and we walked back happily to the room..cus i just helped to save electricity, hence save the earth! almost reaching, we saw andrew and nathaneal coming up from toilet. then i asked, why there (pointing to the back) got toilet don't want to go..must go downstairs? then we went in the CG room.

few minutes later, poh chee came in the room. then he said,
刚才我上厕所，然后突然那个灯POP一声..
i looked at mabel, and she looked at me..we starred at each other..and laughed. only we knew what happened!
不知道谁去关那个灯
and we laughed even harder...

while laughing, nathaneal and andrew said that happened to them before, too! hahaha. and i think we, or rather i was the one, again, who offed last time..

SO MUCH FOR SAVING ELECTRICITY.. :(

I think this is really good that I really want to share with you all.

I went to chinese church this morning. it was a guest speaker speaking. and he talked about his life. and how he had faith in God.

he said, he grew up in a single parent family and was very poor. but he went to America to further his studies. he had only 1000 USD with him. by the second week, he finished the money already, of course on necessary things. and on the second week itself, he has to pay up the school fees, otherwise his name will be canceled from the student list.

he was very worried. he went to look for the lecturers there and ask if there was scholarships that he can apply. but each time he looked for a lecturer, they turned him down. he claimed that he went to look for about 7-8 lecturers. but they gave him the same answer each time. he asked God why is it so..

then just one day before classes start, which was the LAST DAY he can pay up the fees, he went to look for this lecturer which he had already looked for a few days ago. the lecturer asked him, do you believe there is God? he answered yes. then he said, why not you go out and pray, and ask God to open a way for you? so, he did. he went out and prayed for a very long time.

later, the lecturer opened the door and asked him to go in. he told him that, there is one scholarship they can sponsor him. you never know how happy he was. and of course, he thanked God.

what i want to say here is that, God will make a way, where there seems to be no way. and if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

I read this story while I was doing my quiet time today and find it really exciting-because we serve a GOD who is extremely focused on meeting our needs!

There was this poor widow living in Mexico. She had two small children and was down to her last few cents. But she believed that GOD would meet the needs of her little family. She spent hours praying and asking GOD to give her directions as how she should spend her last few cents.

Eventually, she sensed that GOD was directing her to a large market in a nearby village. She had never been there before. She entered the building and sensed GOD telling her to get a shopping cart and fill it with a three months' supply of groceries! When her cart was overflowing with the essentials for her little family, she approached the checkout lanes and sensed GOD directing her to lane number seven.

There was only one man in front of her. When the clerk was finished with him, she pulled a chain across the lane and said, "sorry, it's my lunchtime. you'll have to go to another lane."
The widow look at the clerk and said, "no, my Father told me to come here. i'll wait."

After the clerk returned, she found the lady standing patiently beside her cart of grocerries. She unloaded the items on the conveyor belt. The widow's heart was pounding as the bill began to mount. She nervously fingered the 22 cents in her worn purse.

When the next-to-the-last-item was being rung up, the noise of the supermarket was interupted by the sound of the manager's voice through the intercom. "Attention, shoppers! Whoever is being checked out right now in lane number seven will receive all groceries absolutely free- compliment of our market."

it's funny in a way cus it started like this.

everyone in the house was asleep already. i was talking to my friend on msn. and he told me that i could check my results online(!! changih-fied) ok then i went to the website, logged in with my IC number and waited and waited. and finally! cheng cheng cheng. it came out and it says i got 6As and 2Bs. HAHAHAHA. seriously. the next minute i found myself text messaging another friend telling her that the results can be checked online in Giant. yes, Giant..the grocerries-shopping-place. and i met my cousin there.

friendship connection is just around the corner! to be exact, 17 (nice number!) days more! aren't you all excited? i am! i've started inviting my friends and have been praying really hard that they will make it, especially for those who are not saved yet! two have already confirmed but still am praying that nothing will pop up suddenly.

anyway, here are some details which you should keep in mind so that whenever you bump into someone familiar in school, shopping mall or tuition, you can let them know everything yo! it'll be on the 4th and 10th of november 2007. remember, year two thousand seven. not eight okay. yes, there are so many exciting things laid out for you and your friends that they have to split it into two(2) days! on the 4th, friendship connection starts at 5.30pm whereas on the 10th, it starts at 10am. everything will be held in the dream centre itself.

Friendship I Treasure...

dunno why nowadays i super emo about frens... maybe i hang out with people who take friendship ever so seriously.

now dat i just had an unpleasant argument with my mum over money matters... makes me treasure my friends even more. coz some times u just can't understand the adults. i dun understand why money must always cause argument. and i hate it. somehow my frens, despite not going through the same stuff, they understand wat my parents dun. i used to be so close to my mum, maybe not to the secret telling close, but still close, considering that i dun open up easily to anyone. recently my dad n i are able to communicate easier, and somehow conversation with my mum, ever since i got into uni, is very prone to go into an argument.

recently i had a group of frens whom i am glad to have known. we spent time with each other just talking, hanging out at cafes, listening to one another's problem. people say we should never trust people completely. i on the other hand, am difficult to trust people. but when i do trust, i trust completely. somehow, people see this as a downfall. i wonder why sometimes. then i realised, not every one in this world is for you, some of them are out to get you. still i choose to believe, if i am at the receiving end, then so be it. this group of uni frens, is one group of people i trust, albeit not all of them yet, but considering the amount of time we spent, the level of trust i have in them is amazing.

then theres my frens in church... this group is one i put my heart into, i trust them completely, especially my co leaders. and people like chi yao, enoch, david, joel, troy, ivan... even more so, i trust them with my life.

like i sed, i dun like money to come into the way of relationship. dat's why when i borrow money to frens, or help them photocopy stuff, or buy them a drink, if i can afford it, i wun ask them to pay up if they forget. coz i know they wud have done the same. or consider it a blessing.
hate it when people keep reminding of others how much people owe them. if u are so tight in the first place, then dun pinjam.

after all that have been said, i myself must first be that kind of friend. so please, help me be that kind of friend. let me know if i stepped on your toes.

and please, never betray ur frens trust. its difficult to gain it back once it is lost.

Those Were The Days

Don't you just remember when you were young, you used to climb up the sofa and turn your head around, like this...And you start shouting, HEY! I see everything upside down!

Then, you got bored of it after some time. You started to spin around in circles in the house and try to walk straight in dizziness. And somehow, your brother joins in the fun and when trying to walk straight, you bang into each other accidentally and you shout, YOU LOSE! and fell on the floor.

When your cousins come down from somewhere over the rainbow which you don't know where somewhere over the rainbow is because you were still young and you have not started learning Geography. You will start pushing the sofa further in front so you all will be able to play behind. You open the whole cupboard of soft toys, bring down your collection of Polly Pockets and throw in your favourite teddy bear! Then, girls will always go with girls, join the girl power together and when your brother or cousin brother wants to see what you are doing behind, the girls stand up and say, what you want? You're not a girl so you cannot see what we're doing. BLEHH. Sometimes, you would play masak-masak behind with your imaginary pots, pans, forks and spoons. You finish making ais kacang and gave it to her. She said it was very nice. And you tell her, you know what, I didn't put the nuts, flavouring, jelly and the green worms. -___- (looks like the miang girl's eye Allan drew yesterday)

You enjoyed watching Tom & Jerry. :) :) :)

That, was part of my childhood. I still enjoy watching Tom & Jerry. I enjoy cartoons la!

I just realized the picture colour blends in with the ~~brog~~ blog background colour.

I really am bored. I have nothing to do at home besides watching tv, checking facebook at least 3 times a day, sleeping and helping my mom cut her stuff for her school yogathon thing. Anyway, I have been watching football lately. YES, Meiyih watches football. I watched ManU vs dunno what team. Fuyoh. That Ronaldo bestnya. Hehe. I ate dinner while watching. Eat halfway, GOAL! Distracting but fun. =D Oh, if you really are bored, click this and entertain yourself. The game can really drive you up the wall but it's fun! (; I tell you the first answer. It's four!

Why isn't anyone updating this ~~brog~~ blog? Tell me about your life. How boring or fun or exciting or supercalifragelisticexpialidocious (try pronouncing it) or gah! I want to know how you all have been! (; The sad thing for me now is, I cannot watch Scrubs because Windows Media Player cannot play. -______- sien. Still down with cough. My throat super the pain after I wake up from sleep everyday. Been drinking kaziliion babylon maize plant throwing sheep of water. Jeez. I have no voice to talk. So, that's me..for now! Oh ya, when shall the first Anti Monopoly game start for the year?

I still think supercalifragelisticexpialidocious is cool. 9.30 am. 5 OKTOBER 2007. Tarikh bersejarah yang tidak dicatat dalam buku teks, bagi semua penduduk Tingkatan 3. Bendera Penjajahan PMR akan diturunkan bermakna kami telah berjaya memperoleh kebebasan. Darurat "duduk rumah study" akan dibubarkan. Perjuangan bermati-matian Dato Seri akan sentiasa dihargai. Untuk sekarang, GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS untuk perang PMR.

Taking a break after studying.
A little update on me. I have been studying a lot at home. Yes, I have not been in school for four (4) days. PMR is in 3 days time. *gasp* OH OH OH! I have something really cool to tell you all. On Sunday, I was just on my knees, in my room, doing my quiet time. What happen is that, I saw a vision- everything was in a mess. Eg: table filled with books and more books. Somehow, the books scattered on the table represented something that I had already gone through, something I am going through, and something I will be going through. It was very difficult for me as I didn't know what to do. But I was reminded that GOD's grace is sufficient for me. He will not place something in my life that HE know I cannot do it. So day by day, the books were placed and arranged nicely again on the bookshelf. The thicker books were placed on the lowest rack, which I personally think that GOD wants me to have a firm foundation in GOD.

Moving on, after that vision, GOD gave me another one! I was singing Give Thanks. I saw this baby and a mother. The baby was me (: and the mother was like GOD. Mothers won't leave their baby. So, the mother was standing beside the pram and the baby was sleeping soundly inside. She was watching over the baby. Suddenly, the baby woke up and cried. The mother fed her and comforted her. Slowly, the baby grew up, and was on life's journey. Life is filled with many obstacles . But with GOD by your side, in this journey of life, these obstacles were not difficult for me to cross over. Hang on, I'm not trying to say that life will be very very smooth, but I am always reminded that with GOD, all things are possible! AMEN?

Okays, back to studying! (; Keep that faith and press on!
